Island Software is based in Hobart, Tasmania Australia and is managed by David Godfrey-Smith. David has many years of experience in emergency services, including ski patrol, mountain rescue, canine SAR and most recently as an ambulance officer with the Tasmanian Ambulance Service. He is currently a member of the Management Committee of the Volunteer Ambulance Officers Association of Tasmania Inc. and a past member of the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR).
